Our People
A diverse cosmopolitan population has found a “home away from home”

population of Chipewyan and Beaver are native to the Athabasca region, by
the 1870s the Cree, Metis and Euro-Canadians also made their homes here.
Today the diversity of culture in the region is both recognized and celebrated.
